Lido Learning, an Indian edtech startup offering an immersive digital platform to transform the education sector, has raised US$ 10 million from Unilazer Ventures on 10 September 2021.

Investors: The latest investment round involved participation from only Unilazer Ventures. The startup has managed to raise, in total, US$ 20 million to date.

Purpose of the funding: The startup seeks to deploy the proceeds from the investment round towards stimulating expansion in Australia, Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK by the beginning of 2022. It also plans to launch new classes for students from KG to class 12th in these landscapes.

Brought to existence in 2019 by Sahil Sheth, Lido Learning aids students in gaining knowledge and applying analytical thinking in real-time in place of prime concentration on coding skills. By the end of the financial year, the firm will achieve its target of a US$ 100 million run rate.
