New York, USA-based global authority in the wedding planning industry, The Knot Worldwide, acquired Spain-based global wedding marketplace Zankyou. The company announced the acquisition on February 3, 2023. However, no financial details were disclosed pertaining to the transaction.

Zankyou offers wedding planning tools and vendor marketplaces, connecting more than 350,000 couples per year with 150,000 vendors across its global brands.

Purpose of acquisition by The Knot Worldwide 

The latest acquisition of furthers The Knot Worldwide’s vision to help engaged couples take their wedding from inspiration to action.

However, the deal does not include Zankyou’s business in Portugal or any joint ventures.

The acquisition further enables companies to continue innovating their products. Besides, they seek to expand their services to millions of engaged couples.
