Munich based start-up Personio raises USD 125 Million

Personio, a Munich, Germany based HR start-up secures USD 125 million in series D funding round. The capital valuation is a big boost to the association which would be benefiting them to develop and upgrade the quality of the products. Presently Personio amounts to a total 3000 SMEs in Europe as customers.

Investors: The money was secured by investors led by Index Ventures and Meritech, followed by previous backers’ North zone, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Global Founders Capital and Picus. The funding was completed in series D round.

What the funding is for: The funds would be primarily utilised for further expansion and acceleration in the field of international expansion. Alongside the international expansion the system will be leveraging the capital to widen its footprints across Europe. Also, they aim to develop and furnish its cloud-based application by deepening the device’s core abilities to supervise and cover more processes.
