‘Prarambh’ – The Startup India International Summit

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade is hosting “Prarambh”, the Startup India International Summit on January 15-16, 2021 virtually. The Summit will mark the fifth anniversary of the Startup India Initiative launched by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi on January 16, 2016. 

Startup India is a flagship initiative of the Government of India. Its aim is to build a strong ecosystem that fosters innovation and initiative in Indian startups. It will help to bring about sustainable economic growth and more employment opportunities for the youth. The summit will witness a huge gathering of investors, regulators, innovators, entrepreneurs, industry and academicians from India and abroad. The platform will help India to get the attention of global capital for startups and attract investments and provide startups with the opportunities to access international markets.
