Gurugram -India, located start-up, Junket Foods Pvt Ltd. which is a proprietor of a burger chain Burgerama announced on 14th September, 2020, that it has secured an undisclosed amount of funding led by the enterprise funds Madison Capital with Anicut Angel Fund in a pre-series A round.

The start-up claims to utilize the investment received for expansion in Delhi/NCR area by renting extra folks and also to develop backend operations to help the subsequent section of progress.

The round was led by Madison Capital which is a Venture Firm primarily located in Singapore and New Delhi owned by Entrepreneur Rishabh Malik (ex co-founder of Droom) together with Anicut Angel Fund which is based in New Delhi and Chennai.

Other participants include Madhur Singhal (head of Partnership for OYO in APAC) and a group of different strategic buyers have also joined the round.

The burger category is especially rising and more and more customers are resonating with the product within the country.
