USA-based, a global leader in digital agtech solutions, including the CropX agronomic farm management system, CropX Technologies acquired Australia-based a prominent digital irrigation management solutions provider Green Brain. However, it did not disclose the amount of the transaction.
Purpose of the acquisition
With the latest acquisition, CropX significantly expands its reach in Australia. It also strengthens its position as a global leader in digital precision agriculture. Besides, Green Brain’s stable and loyal customer base will now have access to the the former’s agronomic farm management system. In addition, they receive access to irrigation optimization, meanwhile providing advice on fungal diseases, soil and crop health, nitrogen leaching, salinity, and more.
Australian animal operations will also benefit from CropX’s unique effluent management capability for storage ponds and effluent irrigation fields, which were developed in New Zealand.
The acquisition further accelerates CropX’s growth in the Australian precision ag market.
