MIRAMAR, Florida —ESpace Networks, a Florida-based software startup that is revolutionizing enterprise connection, announced today that its Series A round of funding had been successfully closed. Columbia Capital contributed USD 10 million to the deal.

The money will help ESpace Networks maintain its leadership position by enabling clients to intelligently manage connectivity for moving objects. The company’s solutions offer operational fleets of clients an unmatched level of visibility and control over their connectivity service and users’ quality of experience (QoE).

Rupert Pearce, the former CEO of Inmarsat, will become chairman of the Board of directors in addition to the new investment. ESpace Networks will benefit significantly from Rupert’s background and expertise in the satellite and mobile broadband industries as it moves into its next development phase.

Additionally joining the Board will be Walé Adepoju, the founder of IMDC and former CCO/COO of Global Eagle. Walé has played a vital role in developing connection, media, and technology in commercial aviation over the past 25 years, a crucial market for ESpace Networks.

In the previous year, the company accomplished significant milestones, including fruitful product launches with Fortune 500 cruise and commercial aviation clients.
