A USD 22.4 million new Series A investment round has been announced by Mojo Vision, a high-performance micro-LED firm, to develop further and commercialize its micro-LED display technology for consumer, business, and governmental applications. NEA and Khosla Ventures, already investors, are leading the investment round. Other investors in the game include Dolby Family Ventures, Liberty Global Ventures, Fusion Fund, Drew Perkins, Open Field Capital, and Edge.

The next generation of micro-LEDs, which are being developed by Mojo Vision using cutting-edge semiconductor technology, will upend the worldwide display market, whose sales, according to DSCC, a prominent provider of display market research, are expected to reach more than $160 billion in 2026. To deliver actual value and promote wider adoption, the business has recognized the market potential in the following sectors:

  • Augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR)
  • Automotive, light field display
  • Large format displays
  • Others

The tiniest, densest dynamic display was created by Mojo Vision in 2019 and is an essential part of their bright contact lens, Mojo Lens. The most minor, densest panel for emotional information, this unique monochrome display technology from Mojo Vision achieved a world-record pixel pitch of over 14,000ppi.
