New York, USA-based provider of an eCommerce acceleration platform for multichannel brands, MikMak, signed a definitive agreement to acquire Swaven. The latter is a Paris, France-based eCommerce enablement and analytics software company across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. The company announced the acquisition on February 22, 2023. However, it did not disclose the amount of the transaction.

Purpose of acquisition by MikMak

The acquisition enables the pathway for MikMak 3.0, the world’s most advanced eCommerce enablement and analytics platform.

The integration of MikMak’s strong North American retailer marketplace with Swaven’s international network enables an unmatched value proposition for both local and global brands, with more than 3000 retailer integrations across more than 20 industries and 80 countries. The combined global entity intends to service a Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) of USD 2.4 trillion with an increased foothold in the EMEA, APAC, as well as LATAM markets.

The acquisition further strengthens the company’s place in the Commerce-Marketing industry with a Total Addressable Market (TAM) valued at USD 120 Billion.
