Purpose of a partnership between Tokio Marine and Arbor Ventures 

The recent partnership marks Tokio Marine’s commitment to fuel the digital transformation of the global insurance industry. Earlier in April 2022, the company launched its corporate venture capital (“CVC”) fund called the Tokio Marine Future Fund. Meanwhile, partnering with World Innovation Lab, the fund’s objective was to invest in early-stage startups. Tokio Marine seeks to identify and support directly in high-growth potential startups via its CVC Fund. 

Tokio Marine’s partnership with Arbor Ventures and other leading VCs will provide unique insights and access to promising startups revolutionizing the digital transformation in Insurance. The strategic coup with Arbor Ventures heightens Tokio Marine’s future opportunities.

Meanwhile, Arbor’s worldwide vital networking and portfolio, as well as its stronghold in local markets, will further enable Tokio Marine group’s innovation labs, spread across seven cities, including Singapore, to collaborate broadly with synergy beyond borders.
