About Cradlewise

Seed Round - Cradlewise Inc. Logo

Brought to existence in 2019 by Radhika Patil, Cradlewise develops innovative cradles with a built-in baby monitor that employs artificial intelligence to gain insights about the baby’s sleep cycles and modifies according to requirements. The self-learning cradle recognises the gestures of a baby waking up and automatically begins rocking the cradle, together with calm music to maintain good sleep. The startup runs offices in both India and the US. Currently, Cradlewise delivers in all parts of the US directly through its website. The firm also aims to avail its products on several e-commerce platforms by establishing connections with other firms.

What the Founder has to say: “It is exciting to work with such well-established venture capitalists and high-profile investors having an in-depth comprehension of linked hardware and the consumer market. We are best placed in a competitive environment as the sole smart sleep product developed not to give notifications but to affect an outcome. We persistently lead the domain by extending the potential of the product in terms of the baby’s safety and health.”- Radhika Patil, Co-founder of Cradlewise.

What the Investor has to say: “The advent of a pandemic had made baby care more challenging for today’s parents. Cradlewise envisages aiding sleep-deprived parents so that they can invest more time on their babies.”- Mike Smith, Co-founder and General Partner of Footwork. “Having three kids and working as a professional, it is exhilarating to witness the new generation of solutions for our children originating from none other than parents. After listening to Radhika’s founding motivation to develop a cradle for her child to mitigate her sleep challenges, balancing family and work is a vision and offering I connect with.”- Katrina Lake, Founder of Stitch Fix.
