KL Startup Summit to kick start virtually on 26 March 2021

THE KL Startup Summit (KLSS) 2021, a newly minted version of the Cyberjaya Startup Summits that was held in 2018 and 2019, will kick start on March 26 for 3 days, in Kuala Lumpur. It will be a 100% virtual event.

Sponsors: KLSS 2021 will be held in partnership with Microsoft Malaysia as the main sponsor. About the Summit

The main aim of the event is to support the early-stage startup ecosystem as well as create opportunities for early-stage entrepreneurs to grow their startups, connect them to strategic investors, mentors, partners and corporates.

The summit will be structured along various themed tracks including healthtech, fintech, blockchain, mobility tech and edtech, with partners such as DoctorOnCall, SOCAR Malaysia, Forward School, Fintech Association of Malaysia (FAOM), Blocklime, Access Blockchain Association and many others.

KLSS 2021 events at a glance:

1. Microsoft Developers Day – The summit will kick off with Microsoft Developers Day on Day 1. Developers, CEOs, CIOs, IT Professionals, Startups etc., can sign up for this event free of cost.

2. Insightful Talks – Keynote speakers with vast knowledge and experience in building successful startups.

3. Interactive Panels – Interactive panel discussions on carefully curated hard-hitting topics that are relevant to the startup founders and ecosystem in Malaysia.

4. Valuable Networking – Meet, network and exchange ideas with fellow entrepreneurs and investors.

5. Startup Showcase – The largest virtual startup showcase in Malaysia

6. Funding Opportunity – A “Shark Tank” style private pitching session.

7. Masterclass Workshops – Masterclass Workshops conducted by industry experts.

The virtual access to KLSS 2021 is free for all startups. However, an optional US$ 12.14 (RM50) ticket will entitle participants to a “Swag Kit”. The corporate and investor tickets are priced at US$ 72.87 (RM300) each.
