Adapdix, a software platform based in California which optimizes AI and machine learning at edge, announced raising US$ 8 million series A investment on 8th December 2020. The funding was led by WRVI Capital and included participation from Micron Ventures and existing investors of Adapdix, X2 Equity.

The company was founded with the vision of building a unique kind of optimizing data management platform which can significantly improve service performance using operationalising Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The EdgeOps of Adapdix has become the very first low-latency platform which is deployed at a large scale. The funding will be used for accelerating the growth of their AI powered control and automation software.

The CEO and founder of Adapdix Anthony Hill said, “The enterprise companies are increasingly moving their processing power towards the source of data for reducing network cost and congestion, latency and increasing model accuracy. The Adapdix EdgeOps is the optimal solution that addresses a growing and significant market need for extracting value and control systems at the edge. Funding round will strengthen our leadership position in the market and enable more of the enterprise companies in controlling their end to end operations and ensuring real-time predictive statistics.”

EdgeOps is a software only solution by the company which brings together the power of machine learning and artificial analytics with an edge based and distributed control platform. It enables the control where the artificial intelligence data is present and thereby establishing a distributed data mesh ecosystem which catalyzes the customer centric edge AI deployments. EdgeOps initially focused on manufacturing customers in the automotive industries electronics and semiconductors, with expansion in more sectors later to follow.

“AI will transform how the companies optimize and automate the process of their workplace. The innovative platform of Adapdix has powerful capabilities for generating data insights which can quickly and effectively help in unlocking new levels of streamlined process and productivity.” said Andrew Byrnes, the director of VC Micro Ventures
