The equity funding was led by Eldridge which is a holding company that has its network of enterprises in domains of entertainment, technology, real estate and finance. With the funding, they also announced Todd Boehly, CEO and co-founder of Eldridge, will be joining the board of directors of CAIS. They are planning to use this fresh funding for their continued investment in innovative technologies, analytics and data. They will also be expanding their education platform and thereby enhance the overall experience of the users.
This equity funding was a result of their exceptional record growth of 2019 and convincing strong performances this year. The CAIS platform is the first completely open marketplace available for alternative investments.
