A cloud native cyber response and forensic platform, Cado Security based in London, UK has raised US$ 1.5 million in a seed round on 5th November 2020. The round was led by TenEleven Ventures.

They are planning to use the investment for expanding their development team in the UK. As a part of the deal the General Partner of TenEleven Ventures, Mark Hatfield will also be joining the director’s board of Cado Security.

Cado Security is a cybersecurity enterprise which has developed a platform for dealing with several cyber breaches and performing expert level digital forensics. By offering extensive forensic analysis for several on-premises, container and cloud systems, they aim at reducing the legal and financial effect of cyber security breaches.

The platform offered by enterprise, Cado Response automatically reports the business issues and risks to experts so that organizations can quickly manage them and take the necessary precautions to meet the important breach notification deadlines. The Supercharge Analysis by Cado Response empowers the analysts to go to the root of security incidents and provides inside details of PII, suspicious events, financial information and malicious files. To accelerate analysis every file that is logged in, is inspected and indexed.

A useful feature that Cado Response provides is ensuring that incident data is secured before it is gone with automatic data collection. The platform doesn’t need any physical intervention and the enterprises can work and collaborate remotely. They also offer several free tools  like Cado Live which transfers the on-premise data to cloud storage. Another free tool Cado Cloud Collector transfers AWS EC2 instances to perform the forensic analysis. The flexible solutions developed by Cado Security helps security teams to respond to cyber threats in a cross-platform and better way that reduces the risks imposed.
