ATLANTA, 21 June 2023 – Danti, a leader in assisting users in locating pertinent data about actual locations on our world, announced the completion of its USD 2.75 million Pre-seed investment round. Tech Square Ventures took the lead in the financing, and Radius Capital joined. Jordan Noone, Keith Masback, Jeff Crusey, Overline, Space.VC, Raven One Ventures, Philip Krim, and Tareyton Ventures were also mentioned. With the help of the funding, Danti’s search engine technology will be developed more quickly in preparation for deployment with U.S. intelligence and defense customers, as well as with business partners in the real estate, insurance, and large-scale infrastructure sectors.

Danti, a company founded in 2023 by leaders in the geospatial, aerospace, and space data industries, aims to make Earth’s data available to everyone who needs it. Danti, a natural language processing (NLP) and artificial intelligence (AI) platform, enables expert and non-expert users to ask straightforward inquiries and receive incredibly relevant answers. For instance, a search for “How old is the roof at 123 Main Street?” will yield results that include county permit records, high-resolution aerial photographs attesting to roof alterations, and analytics from companies that offer such information.

A staggering quantity of data is available, but it is all scattered and segregated, much like in the early days of the Internet. Because of this, only specialists who know where to search and how to put it together can access this priceless data, according to Jesse Kallman, CEO and Founder of Danti. “Danti is on a mission to open access to data on physical locations by developing the first search engine for the market—one that is as user-friendly as the well-known search engines we all use to surf the web.”

Along with the investment round, Danti also revealed that it had won the open competition geoSpatial Environment for Access, Retrieval & Content Hosting (“gSEARCH”), which was sponsored by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and put out by the National Security Innovation Network (NSIN). The search and discovery of multi-formatted geospatial content within government-managed and private data sources is the primary goal of the gSEARCH program. Due to its capacity to let non-expert users without a geospatial background quickly prioritize, analyze, and organize information into action, Danti’s cutting-edge technology won the highest honor. As part of this program, which is now in progress, Danti is collaborating with NGA and several DoD partners to give those defending our country a crucial search tool.
