Geneva, Switzerland-based leading digital asset infrastructure provider for financial institutions in Europe, Taurus SA raised USD 65 million in Series B. The company announced the fundraise on February 14, 2023. Credit Suisse led the financing for the company. Meanwhile, institutional investors such as Deutsche Bank, Pictet Group, and Cedar Mundi Ventures joined in the funding. Previous investors such as Arab Bank Switzerland and Investis also provided the investment.

Purpose of funding for Taurus

With the latest financing, Taurus has plans to grow its strategy across three main priorities. Firstly, it seeks to hire top engineering talent to further develop the complete platform in the industry. Secondly, Taurus aims to get closer to clients as well as expand the sales and customer success organization of its infrastructure solutions with new offices in Europe, UAE and soon after in the Americas and South-East Asia.

 In addition, the company intends to maintain the most stringent security, risk and compliance requirements across product lines, processes and organizations.

This will form a key part of our digital asset custody platform and will make it easier for us to develop and roll out our digital asset custody offering. Through this investment, Deutsche Bank is delighted to partner on the development of the market for digital assets.”
