US-based Inbox Health raises US$ 15M in Series A funding

MIAMI, January 4, 2023 – Ostro, a leading healthcare interaction platform for consumers and HCPs, celebrated several key milestones in 2022, including yearly revenue growth of more than 250%, Series B investment, a new website, and brand design, and a Forbes mention for co-founder Ahmed Elsayyad.

In 2022, Ostro collaborated with many brands from the top 10, mid-size, and smaller life sciences organizations, including pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and digital therapeutics, to address multiple use cases in neurology, cardiovascular disease, pulmonology, infectious disease, women’s health, and more. Simultaneously, Ostro launched a new website and brand identity, increased its employee base by 50%, and raised an additional USD 45 million in funding from Founders Fund, Byers Capital, Caffeinated Capital, Greycroft, Bling Capital, Trust Ventures, and RRE Ventures, bringing total funding to more than USD 55 million.

In addition to its rapid expansion, the Ostro team recently received a major honor: co-founder and President Ahmed Elsayyad was nominated on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list for healthcare.

“No one deserves it more than Ahmed,” Feiger remarked. “He’s been laser-focused on selflessly bringing value to patients and HCPs for as long as I’ve known him. I’m thrilled he’s getting acknowledged for his services to the business.”

In 2023, Ostro plans to build on its success in 2022 by expanding its customer base, expanding its product range, and growing the Ostro team.
