Sydney, Australia-based fabless semiconductor company, advancing Wi-Fi for the Internet of Things (IoT), Morse Micro, raised an additional AU$ 30 million. The company announced the Series B round on November 28, 2022.  TelstraSuper, HESTA, Hostplus, NGS (managed by Blackbird Ventures) and UniSuper (managed by Uniseed) joined in the funding for the firm.

So far, the company’s total  Series B Funding stands at AU$ 170 million. Earlier in September, the company raised AU$ 140 million in the initial Series B round.

Purpose of funding for Morse Micro 

With the additional funding, Morse Micro aims to further accelerate IoT connectivity.

It seeks to achieve unprecedented scale and demand for its Wi-Fi HaLow technology. The said technology solution is for the Internet of Things (IoT) market that can reach 10-times the range of traditional Wi-Fi networks.
