Madrid, Spain-based technology startup that offers Recruitment and Selection Software (ATS), Viterbit, raised EUR 1.6 million in fresh funding. The company announced its first funding round on October 17, 2022. 4Founders Capital led the financing for the firm. Lanai Partners, Roma Ventures and business angels such as Carlos Blanco, Oriol Juncosa and Enrique Linares also joined in the investment.

Purpose of financing by Viterbit

With the recent proceeds from its first funding round, the company intends to accelerate its growth plans.

Viterbit aims to consolidate its presence in key markets of Spain and Mexico. Further, it seeks expansion into the rest of Europe. Meanwhile, it aims to develop its multi-channel recruitment platform.

What the CEO has to say

Dimitri Nicolau, CEO of Viterbit, said, “It’s a well-known fact that great companies achieve success when they align talent management with their objectives. No matter the TAM, the business model or how innovative the idea is, in the end, everything revolves around people.”

He further added, “This round of financing not only validates the need that exists in the market for high-end HR applications, but it’s also a push to scale our business and enable companies, for the first time, to operate with the flexibility, connectivity, and tools that work best for their business, rather than forcing a single approach to all your HR operations. HR teams need more effective processes and integrated systems to proactively help transform their organization.”

What the investor has to say

Marek Fodor, a partner at 4Founders Capital, said, “In a context where attracting and managing talent is of vital importance for companies, Viterbit democratizes access to high-end tools with a high degree of personalization, thus allowing companies to be more efficient in hiring processes. We are delighted to be able to participate and accompany Dimitri, Marcos and Ariel in this promising project, which we hope will soon become a benchmark in the HR market”.
