A USD 3.3 million series A investment round for the digital health business Pattern Health has now been closed, it was announced today. With investments from current investors Cofounders Capital, The Launch Place, and Triangle Tweener Fund, the Dr. William H. Joyce Family Office led the round. The Joyce Family Office’s Allen A. Spizzo has joined the board of directors.

The new funding will be used by Pattern to accelerate the transition of digital health innovation from the realm of research to the real world. The company’s one-of-a-kind, no-code digital health platform enables partners to more quickly and affordably conduct research, develop new methods of improving treatment, and, after those methods have been proven successful, distribute their ideas at scale to better the lives of more patients.

According to Pattern’s CEO and Co-Founder Ed Barber:

“This is an exciting time for Pattern, our partners, and the patients who benefit from the solutions being created and deployed on our platform.” “We appreciate the university medical facilities, health systems, and top researchers that have chosen Pattern as their go-to partner for digital health innovation. We will be able to increase our reach and provide more individuals with more benefits thanks to our series A funding.”

A no-code digital health platform that offers the interoperability, scalability, security, and compliance required to develop and disseminate digital health initiatives makes Pattern’s capabilities possible. Twelve of the leading academic institutions presently use the company to power research in various conditional fields.

According to Mr. Spizzo of the Joyce Family Office:

“Pattern has made a significant effect to date, and we are pleased by the possibility of developing the business. Pattern’s no-code platform is the game-changer for healthcare researchers and entrepreneurs. The company fills a gap by offering a mechanism for successful digital health programs to reach patients quickly.

More about the startup:

In order to hasten digital health innovation, Pattern Health is on a mission. In order to create and implement digital health programs, surveys, and clinical tools, we collaborate with researchers, clinical innovators, and their institutions. But we don’t stop there. We create a roadmap for adopting digital health technologies for clinical use, bridging the gap between research and practical implementation. Any healthcare institution can license programs, bringing innovators and healthcare professionals together in a collaborative community that increases innovation’s impact.
