Shouto.app, a platform for finding fashion, has officially begun operating. A pre-Seed round headed by Saama raised USD 1.6 million for the company. Whiteboard Capital, Amit Singhal, a former head of search at Google, Arjun Vaidya, and 25 D2C founding angels are some of the other investors who took part. The money will be used to create new products, hire creator success managers and engineers, engage creators, and grow the company.

ShoutO, a new online fashion shopping experience aimed at Gen Z and young millennial consumers, was co-founded by former Myntra, AJIO, and Amazon executives Maruthy Ramgandhi, Abhishekk Handa, and Ayyappan Lakshmanan. It gives users a platform to browse and shop high-end fashion brands and private-label merchandise. 

The company is concentrating on creating innovative and unique shopping features and creator-driven style curations that cater to consumer preferences like sustainable clothing and extended sizes like plus, petite, tall, etc., while also working well for contemporary fashion categories like athleisure and street. While customers browse and discover designs recommended by their favorite fashion creators, ShoutO fashion creators build their Shopify-like sites, propose products, and monetize based on traction.

On the business front, ShoutO has already expanded to more than 50 creator businesses, and the platform now features more than 3,000 fashion recommendations that cover a variety of topics, including streetwear, ethnic clothing, casual wear, holiday wear, and much more. The makers of ShoutO have 500,000 followers on social media, primarily on Instagram. 

The platform now has 60,000+ active monthly users, a 51% increase month over month. By December, ShoutO hopes to have 500,000 active users on a monthly basis. At that point, the business plans to raise a larger seed round.
