Mumbai, India-based warehousing and fulfilment services provider Emiza acquired Shippigo. The acquisition took place on July 6, 2022. The deal did not disclose the amount of acquisition. Shippigo is a Gurguram, India-based technology platform for shipping solutions.

As per the deal, the founders and team of Shippigo will join Emiza. 

Purpose of Acquisition by Emiza 

The recent acquisition of Shippigo will further strengthen Emiza’s technology and shipping capabilities. Besides, The supply chain company can now provide its customers with a single-window shipping solution. 

Moreover, making the most of Shippigo’s technology, Emiza can cater as a one-stop solution covering the entire product journey, i.e. from warehousing to last-mile delivery.

Earlier in May 2022, Emiza raised USD 4.8 million (INR 37.5 crore) in Series B funding. JM Financial Private Equity (PE), the alternative investment arm of JM Financial Ltd, led the funding back then. The Series B round also saw existing investor Mayfield India’s participation.
