US-based Event Management startup Fever raises USD 227 million in its latest funding

US-based Fever, an entertainment discovery platform that helps people discover events and attractions in their cities, raised USD 227 million on 26th January 2022.

Investors: The investment round was led by the Growth Equity business within Goldman Sachs Asset Management (“Goldman Sachs”). Several other investors, including Alignment Growth, Goodwater Capital, and Smash Capital, participated. Eurazeo and Vitruvian Partners have also invested an undisclosed amount as a secondary investment with the USD 227 million primary funding. In addition, the startup has been marked with unicorn status since the latest funding. The startup has raised more than USD 297 million, including previous rounds.

Purpose of funding: As the aftermath of covid may bring robust growth in events and attractions, the startup is looking to expand its reach. As a part of the Metaverse era of digital entertainment, the funding also marks an exciting time for culture and live entertainment.
