Petpooja, a Gujarat-based Restaurant PoS (point-of-sale) startup, has raised USD 4.5 million in a Series B funding round led by Ritesh Agarwal-led Aroa Ventures on 15 November 2021.

Investors: Ritesh Agarwal-led Aroa Ventures led the latest funding round with participation from GVFL, Udaan, Dr Mayur Desai and other angel investors.

The Objectives behind the funding: The company plans to deploy the current proceeds to expand its reach in the Middle East and Africa regions and to expand its Supplier’s hub, which allows customers on its platform to band together for bulk purchases of ingredients and equipment. It has already onboarded 5,000 suppliers and plans to onboard 50,000 in the next two years.
