18.August.2021 –  Smallcase, a stock investment platform, announced that it raised USD 40 Million in a Series C funding round. This funding round was led by Faering Capital. 

This round saw the participation of investors like Amazon Sambhav Venture Fund (ASFV) and Premji Invest. The existing investors also took part in the round like, WEH Ventures, DSP Group, Sequoia Capital, Blume Ventures and Beenxt.

As a part of the investment round, Sameer Shroff MD and Co-founder, Faering, will join the board of Smallcase. 

The capital raised by the company will be utilised to launch better investment products for the retail investor and develop an additional value for partners of Smallcase like Upstox, HDFC Bank, and Zerodha by expanding the ecosystem and enhancing the platform and its capabilities.
