About Strata

Established in 2019 by Sudarshan Lodha and Priyanka Rathore, Strata attempts to invest in premium commercial properties that are easy, transparent, and affordable. It dreams of becoming the biggest substitute investment marketplace in India for retail investors by allowing them to fund in CRE assets—by bifurcating assets and providing them on a simple digital platform. It mitigates opacity and brings liquidity to CRE investments through its data-driven asset choosing and single-window marketplace. Presently, Strata has more than 15,000 clients with an active user base of over 1,000 investors worldwide. Since its early days, the firm has witnessed exceptional growth, structuring an asset under management (AUM) worth INR 330 crores, including a systematized portfolio, across assets covering workplaces, warehouses, and industrial houses.

What the Founder has to say: “We envisage liberating CRE as an unprecedented asset type in India. The latest round of funding arrives at a crucial point in our growth journey, allowing us to quickly expand and frame and develop our product as we ready ourselves for the next level of growth. We are exhilarated to onboard our new investors, especially Kotak Investment Advisors.”- Sudarshan Lodha, CEO of Strata.

What the Investors have to say: “Strata has structured an effective asset class available to all. Investment in CRE has majorly been inaccessible for the investor communities operating in India. That said, Strata has worked with commitment to reduce the gap by providing investors admittance to invest in cost-effective CRE through its products. It is exciting to join hands with the Strata team in their growth journey.”- Srini Sriniwasan, Managing Director of Kotak Investment Advisors Limited.
