The funding round was led by AMF and included participation from the prior backers of startup Arena Sessan, H&M CO: LAB and Kinnevik.

The company intends to use the funding for the international expansion and investing in their technology platform and significantly growing their team.

Fredrik Hamilton, the founder and CEO of Budbee, said, “When I founded Budbee in 2015, my team and I quickly recognized the enormous potential of technology to transform e-commerce deliveries. Today we have built a service that is loved by millions of people in Sweden, The Netherlands, Denmark, and Finland. AMF is one of Sweden’s leading pension companies and we are very happy to welcome them on board as a long-term owner, supporting our ambition to expand and improve e-commerce shopping for millions more within Europe.”

Budbee is an IT startup founded by Axel Warg and Fredrik Hamilton in 2015. It is a last mile delivery experience suited for your needs. The aim of the startup is to make the end customers feel relaxed, informed and in control of their deliveries from the moment they place their order until the goods are in their hands.

Reboxed, a Brixton, London based sustainable technology startup announced securing £350k funding led by Angel investors on 14th January 2021.

The angel investors include Dyson CEO Martin McCourt, Mazuma Mobile co-founder Charlo Carabott and ustwo co-founder Matt ‘Mills’ Miller.

The newly raised investment will be used for supporting the launch of their on demand buy back process that utilizes the ‘TechCheck’ diagnostic service of the startup.

Phil Kemish, the co-founder and CEO of Reboxed, said: “I’m happy to announce this investment and excited by the opportunity to transform the pre-owned and refurbished experience, which suffers from poor satisfaction and inconvenience, and is failing the needs of today’s on-demand consumers. Reboxed was founded in 2019 and is not any average recommerce company. It is a combination of technology, branding, and environmental impact to provideE-commerce, SaaS and on-demand buyback services. It is an on-demand platform for businesses and people for selling, swapping and shopping for used tech with sustainable solutions.
