Slovakia’s altFINS secures €1M seed funding

Fintech startup altFINS has secured €1M in a seed funding round held in August 2020, led by CB Investment Management.

altFINS’ platform enables investors and traders to protect, analyze and trade digital assets. Capital raised will be used to further expand its platform’s services, aiming to help even more private and recognized investors to make up-to-date investment decisions and become acquainted with digital assets.

Founded in 2015 by Richard Fetyko, the startup presents before investors and traders a platform that enables them to collect information and news, study altcoins and find and execute trade ideas while tracking their collections of digital assets across exchange. With present market players attention fixated mainly on trade implementation (exchanges, brokers, OTC desks, trading tools) altFINS’ emphasis on pre-trade and post-trade analytics helps traders produce trading ideas and comprehend their performance across multiple crypto exchanges.

About the current funding, Richard Fetyko said, “Immediately following our first interactions, it was clear that CB Investment Management team recognizes the long-term potential of this new asset class and the disruptive nature of underlying blockchain technology. We are to welcome an investor that shares our vision and gives us the trust and full support needed to achieve our expansion goals.”

Dano Gašpar, partner of CB Investment Management said, “ altFINS has found a void at the market that suffers from lack of high-quality tools for investment analytics and fails to address the need for professional digital assets management infrastructure at the same time. We believe in the strong growth potential of altFINS on a global scale, especially now in an era of financial uncertainty in the traditional markets. “

The startup estimates that there are over 50 million crypto investors today, and that crypto will continue to gain more prominence in most investors’ portfolios, particularly among millennials and the digital Gen-Z.

altFINS appears to be on a mission to guide such people along the investment route and help them in achieving their wealth management goals.
