Dublin, Ireland-based, fastest-growing customer communications platform, Mail Metrics acquires Dublin-based Docket and Form International Limited Dafil. The company announced the acquisition on September 4, 2023. However, it did not disclose the amount of the transaction.

Purpose of Acquisition by Mail Metrics

With the latest acquisition, Mail Metrics seeks to strengthen its position as a leading player in the communication sector in Ireland. This acquisition of Dafil brings their total number of employees from 110 to 151. Meanwhile, the company also unlocks the expansion of their customer base of highly regulated companies.

Mail Metric’s similar customer base played a critical role in the acquisition of Dafil.

Jean Maher, Managing Director of Dafil, stated, “To deliver the next chapter in Dafil’s journey and to allow me to move to the next phase in my life, Nick Keegan and the team at Mail Metrics will be taking over the reins at Dafil to lead the company through its next phase of growth. I will still have a presence and a role to play in the company over the coming months as we begin to integrate our two companies together”.

Dafil has provided secure transactional and customer communication services to a variety of blue-chip companies for more than four decades.

About Mail Metrics

Nick Keegan in 2016 launched Mail Metrics. The company earlier acquired Persona (Ireland) as well as Forth Communications (U.K.) in 2021. Mail Metrics works with firms in regulated industries such as financial services and utilities, where the emergence of digital channels, greater compliance demands, and increasing costs to serve are changing how these large entities approach the management of their customer communications. Mail Metrics has experienced consistently strong organic growth of 40% year on year. The company intends to support its growth with strategic acquisitions, which remains a key pillar of its growth strategy. The company’s revenue, which was EUR 1 million in 2019, is projected as EUR 40 million by the end of 2023.
