MINNEAPOLIS, January 5, 2023 – Herself Health, a new healthcare technology firm aimed at providing advanced primary care to women over the age of 65, announced the launch of its first clinic today. Juxtapose, the company’s founding partner, led the USD 7 million seed round fundraising. Mindy Grossman, former President and CEO of WW (previously Weight Watchers) and current partner at the Consello Group, will join the board of Herself Health, which Juxtapose and CEO Kristen Helton co-founded.

Herself Health is on its way to being the first value-based advanced healthcare firm focusing solely on women. The organization connects women’s health objectives with their life goals by considering a patient’s physical, emotional, social, sexual, and spiritual requirements. Herself Health doctors begin by doing a detailed interview and health examination with their patients to develop a treatment plan that addresses common problems like osteoporosis, weight control, and mental well-being. The organization employs and trains elite physicians in geriatrics, offering value-based care with an emphasis on patient outcomes. Herself Health was created to meet the specific requirements of women on Medicare aged 65 and older.

Helton provides distinct expertise to develop contemporary, patient-centered healthcare delivery. She previously co-created Profusa, an integrated biosensor firm, and produced and directed Amazon Care, the corporation’s first entry into healthcare. Amazon Care is a virtual, on-demand service that began with Amazon workers and has now grown to serve other businesses and their workforces. Care expanded from a concept to virtual care in 50 states and in-home care in 15 cities with over 100,000 patients under Helton’s guidance. Care has one of the top scores for healthcare services, with a customer satisfaction score of 4.7 out of 5.

Mindy Grossman, Herself Health’s newest board member, and former WW CEO:

“Kristen and Herself Health has built a paradigm for healthcare that will provide a larger community with elevated and meaningful experiences they would not otherwise have access to. I’m happy to work with a creator and organization committed to democratizing wellness for all.”
