Komi, a customizable website page builder tool that allows influencers and celebrities to construct and modify a landing page to promote their projects, announced today the completion of a USD 5 million seed round funded by Contour Venture Partners.

Komi, which will be launched in October 2021, is intended to provide a central hub for content creators, musicians, athletes, celebrities, and other creative talent where they can customize a landing page that promotes their latest podcast episode, YouTube video, merch drops, music album, tour dates, meet-and-greet opportunities, social media accounts, and so on.

“Komi was designed to give creators more power. Millions of people earn money from their online presence worldwide, yet many lack the digital toolset they require. “Komi is working directly with the world’s best artists and their teams to produce the ‘all-in-one’ product suite required to build a deeper, more direct, and more rewarding relationship with their audience,” stated Lewis Crosbie, co-founder, and CEO of Komi.

TikTok,  Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, SoundCloud, Twitch, and Shopify have also collaborated with the firm, allowing users to connect all of their content and goods.

Komi also contains backend capabilities that enable users to collect statistics such as total views, profits, clicks, and average click-through rate (CTR).

Komi is presently exclusively accessible by invitation, although it intends to open to the public in early 2023. The platform is a subscription service that costs USD 10 each month. Wix and Squarespace, for example, charge as little as USD 16 per month for website builders.

With over 300 million creators worldwide, Komi’s landing page tool may aid many, regardless of skill level, from managers with high-profile customers to one-man-band artists.

Several celebrities, including Lizzo, Idris Elba, Matthew McConaughey, Elton John,  and Eva Longoria, as well as social media stars like Zoe Sugg, utilize the product.

Red Light Music Management and Get Engaged Media, as well as notable angel investors such as World Cup winner and soccer player Mario Gotze, former Victoria Secret Angel and model Taylor Hill, Ben Lovett from Mumford & Sons, and Sven Ahrens, Spotify’s director of global growth, took part in the round.
