Berlin, Germany-based open-source community-led growth platform Crowd.dev raised EUR 2.2 million in recent funding. The pre-seed round took place on October 28, 2022. Seedcamp and Lightbird led the financing for the firm. Besides, Possible Ventures, Angel Invest and NevrSeen joined in the funding. The round also saw the participation of angel investors such as Russ Heddleston, Cedric Sellin, Christian Stiebner, and Matthäus Krzykowski. 

Purpose of financing for Crowd.dev

With the latest capital injection, Crowd.dev intends to release its open-source offering.

The company also has plans to invest in strengthening the core community. It seeks to extend the product, adding more applications and data integrations, as well as making it generally available to the public. 

Since March 2022, several hundred organizations have joined the company’s beta. It boasts of giants such as Microsoft, Meilisearch, Code Intelligence, ZenML, Distributed, and the Linux Foundation.
