Founders checklist for a successful startup funding round

NEW YORK, Oct 6, 2022 — The workforce intelligence business Revelio Labs has announced a USD 15 million Series A funding raising today. Elephant Partners served as the round’s lead investor, while money was also provided by Alumni Ventures, BDMI, K20 Ventures, Techstars, and Barclays. The money, which comes less than a year after Revelio Labs raised USDA4.5 million in initial funding, will increase the company’s corporate HR and strategy products. Revelio Labs has more than 150 clients, including governments, corporate strategists, HR departments, and investors, and its growth has increased since that time.

Revelio Labs’ CEO, Ben Zweig, said:

“A company’s personnel is its most valuable asset, but even in 2022, hiring managers and employers will likely not fully understand the factors that influence individual and group decisions by employees. Corporate America was unprepared for the talent wars, the Great Resignation, or quiet resignation. And it’s more crucial than ever to have a better grasp of workforce trends as we negotiate a very tight job market, strong inflation, and a probable recession. We appreciate that Elephant and our other investors continue to see the potential of labour data to impact substantial business transformation. We look forward to using this fresh funding to improve our products even more.”

Revelio Labs creates solutions that help any organization understand its staff. The business has developed a typical structure to standardize job names, skills, activities, and firms by evaluating publicly available labor data. The data scientists at Revelio Labs create cutting-edge statistical approaches to eliminate sample bias and account for reporting lags to produce a thorough, objective, and current view of workforce dynamics. The workforce statistics of the organization offer insight on demographic diversity, recruiting and attrition patterns, geographic composition, career transitions, and occupational mix. The most significant hedge funds, private equity companies, venture capital firms, and many large corporate clients are among Revelio Labs’ current clientele.

Elephant Partners General Partner Julie Effron:

“Employers must be able to meet the demands of both present and potential employees to attract and keep the most significant personnel. Revelio Labs is in a position to assist in filling this informational vacuum in the labor market and offering the knowledge required to enhance human capital decision-making. We see a significant opportunity for Revelio Labs with a SaaS platform focused on providing strategic workforce intelligence across enterprises. We look forward to continuing to support their growth with this investment”.

Revelio Labs is a provider of workforce intelligence. Revelio Labs, a company founded in 2018, collects and harmonises hundreds of millions of public employment records to produce the first global HR database. Data scientists, economists, and engineers on the company’s staff provide insightful workforce analytics to clients such as investors, business strategists, HR departments, and governments, enabling them to make data-driven, actionable decisions.
