Milan, Italy-based mobile payment company Satispay raised EUR 320 million in Series D funding. The latest round took place on September 28, 2022. Addition led to the financing for the firm. Meanwhile, Coatue, Greyhound Capital, Lightrock, Tencent, Block Inc., and Mediolanum Gestione Fondi SGR joined in the investment.

The company’s valuation exceeded EUR 1 billion, foraying into the list of unicorns. So far, the total amount raised by Satispay stands at EUR 490 million.

Purpose of funding for Satispay 

With the latest capital injection, Satispay intends to expand both it’s product offerings as well as geographic expansion.

It aims to accelerate its operations in Italy and internationally. Among international markets, it seeks to target regions such as France and Germany.
