August 24, 2022 — The USD 40 million Series A fundraising for Petfolk, a new kind of veterinary care that provides a better-connected community for today’s vets, animals, and the people who love them, was completed.

In addition to Triple Point Capital and famous animal lovers Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, Midland’s Mark Wystrach and Cameron Duddy, Jimmie Johnson, Erik Jones, and Danica Patrick, the round was led by White Star Capital and Freshly founder Michael Wystrach.

Dr. Audrey Wystrach, co-CEO and founder of Petfolk and a veterinarian with more than 25 years of experience, stated:

“I couldn’t be more delighted to have the backing of this incredible group of investors and pet lovers as we set out to revolutionize the market.”With the help of this funding, we will be able to quickly reach more towns, animals, and veterinarians with our top-ranked veterinary practices. Our goal is to dramatically improve pet owners’ enjoyment of ownership and care and that of the excellent veterinarians who deliver it.”

Michael Wystrach, co-founder and co-CEO, stated:

“Our goal is to become the nation’s most cherished, rapidly expanding, and ultimately largest provider of veterinary services. We stand out from the competition because we are long-term investors who think there is room to significantly enhance the veterinary services sector for the veterinarian staff and pet owners.”

More about the platform:

Petfolk, a new breed in pet care that puts a network of expertise and readily available solutions at pet parents’ fingertips, was founded by veterinarians who love animals. With innovations like 24/7 virtual and instant care, mobile pet care centers, technology for individualized and transparent care plans, a vet-minded employment model, and stress-free designed spaces, Petfolk goes above and beyond your typical veterinary office experience. The brand embodies a community of care that makes it easier for pet parents and veterinarians to be seen and heard.

Pet owners and doctors are more likely to be seen and heard because of Petfolk’s world-class service and technological developments, which range from planned on-site visits in a calm, stress-free designed place to telehealth and mobile pet care access.

The business will soon introduce its brand-new 24-hour virtual care service. This ground-breaking solution will provide pet owners access to professional advice and vets whenever and wherever they need it. Petfolk sees itself as integral to the larger community of pet owners and acknowledges that its unique selling points apply just as much to pet parents as to their pets.

The company promotes the idea that pet parents can make the most significant choices for their dogs and cats if they have access to the correct technology, resources, and information.
