In recent funding, the India-based venture capital Campus Fund raised USD 10 million (INR 75 crore). The company announced the news on July 9, 2022. Large institutions, family offices, and leading fund general partners led the financing for Campus Fund. IIFL Wealth, Omidyar Network India, Bharat Shah (former chairman of HDFC Securities), Jaimin Bhatt (CFO, Kotak Mahindra Bank), Kanwaljit Singh (founder, Fireside Ventures), Shivkumar Janardhanan (former CEO, Essilor India) joined in the investment.

Purpose of Funding by Campus Fund

With the latest capital infusion, Campus Fund seeks to deepen its commitment to investing in student-led startups. The company raised the funding for its second Fund. The latest funding will aid in investing at the pre-seed stage of portfolio companies. 

Its previous Fund I had a ticket size of USD 8 million (INR 7 crore). The company invested its Fund I across ten startups.
