Bangalore, India-based edtech startup Kreedo Early Childhood Solutions raised USD 2.3 million in pre-Series A funding. The round took place on July 4, 2022. Switzerland-based UBS Optimus Foundation, Spectrum Impact, Gray Matters Capital and 1Crowd co-led the funding for Kreedo. Meanwhile, Innospark Ventures, IIM-CAN and The Chennai Angels participated in the financing. 

Purpose of Funding for Kreedo

The latest funding will help Kreedo to diversify its operations further.  

The company aims to boost its next phase of growth and expansion.

“Our vision is to democratize quality early education. We have an overwhelming response from our partner schools, looking for the most affordable and simplest way to improve foundational learning. The new round of funding will enable us to take Kreedo to more than 7000 schools across multiple cities in India,” said Mridula Shridhar, Chief Executive Officer at Kreedo.

Further, Pranay Adhvaryu, Head of Investments, Gray Matters Capital, said, “The pandemic has adversely impacted the already distressed early education sector, and now Kreedo is seeing tremendous traction as they address a massive learning gap which schools need help to fill.”
