Indian Fintech startup KreditBee raises US$ 70M in Series C round

Mosyle, mobile device management (MDM) company, announced a US $196 million series B investment round, along with the introduction of its Apple Unified Platform on May 4th, 2022, a solution that combines five apps into one.

Insight Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, led the investment round for the Winter Park, Fla.-based startup, including StepStone Group and other investors. The Apple Unified Platform, according to Mosyle, integrates better device management, endpoint security, internet privacy/security, identity management, and application management into a single package.

What the founder has to say:

Mosyle’s founder and CEO- Alcyr Araujo

“Because we are the only company offering this type of solution, I believe this funding confirms that we are on the right track and our growth has been significant. And we’ve been able to identify market demands and provide products that customers are prepared to pay for. It will enable us to continue adding solutions to the Apple Unified Platform on our path. And every time you create a new product or service, you’ll need a complete ecosystem to support it in onboarding users and collaborating with partners.”

What the investors have to say:

David Collins, CEO of Maitland, Fla.-based Aeras Technologies:

“As our clients’ Apple footprint grows, they require specialized solutions – and Mosyle checks all the criteria,” he said. “Their Apple-only strategy, focus on automation, simpler procedures, and ability to meet critical management and security requirements are unrivaled. We’re excited to see what comes next.”

About Mosyle:

Mosyle is part of the MDM market, which according to analysts, is expected to rise from US $5.5 billion in 2021 to US $20.4 billion by 2026 as security teams try to impose security controls on devices that are outside the network’s perimeter defenses.

Jamf, an Apple device management solution that automates Apple device lifecycle management with account provisioning, identity management, zero-touch deployment, compliance monitoring, and threat hunting, is one of Mosyle’s most significant competitors in the market.

In 2016, Mosyle relocated its operations from Brazil to the United States. Since then, it has grown to serve more than 32,000 clients in education and business, with its platform managing more than 5 million devices. While Araujo would not reveal Mosyle’s annual revenue, he said the company had raised more than US $215 million in venture financing and that sales have increased by triple digits since 2020.
