Citi, Franklin Templeton, Aspenwood Ventures, Rovida Kruptos Assets, and Boldstart Ventures were the previous investors in the round.

The funds will be used to develop new product lines, and Amberdata plans to expand globally, despite having existing agreements in the United States, the United Kingdom, Latin America, Singapore, and Australia.

The company is currently worth US $330 million. It has received a total of US $47 million to date, including a US $2 million seed round and a US $15 million Series A round.

What the founder has to say:

CEO Shawn Douglass:

“If you think about it, digital assets will affect every individual and business on the planet and revolutionize finance. To accept that, you’ll need data and insights.”

Every bank and trading institution on the earth is now embracing digital assets, knowing that they will become obsolete if they don’t. As a result, there is a tsunami of adoption, and we assist them by reducing their time to market and enabling them to make smarter, data-driven decisions.

We’ll see more money in this market in the next three years than we’ve seen because institutions are stepping up and ready to do so right now.”

Banks and large institutions will come in, and they’ll need [data] to do their taxes, accounting, treasury management, and all the compliance procedures they’re putting in place right now.”
