About Sensorfact

Founded in 2016 by Massimo Coduti, Pieter Broekema, and Sjoerd Sloterdijk, Sensorfact is located in Utrecht, Netherlands. Sensorfact is a startup that provides an Energy Management System to help customers save on electric bills by detecting potential energy savings. Industrial SMEs can monitor the data about their energy consumption in detail and take targeted actions to reduce it. Customers can integrate energy reports into the system through its plug-and-play hardware and software, ensuring compliance with regulations. With more than 600 customers in 25 countries in Europe, the startup has a large customer base. In addition, energy prices have rocketed in the past year, and strict energy regulations apply to companies. As a result, the startup will help more customers turn to a sustainable energy system.

What the founder has to say

“The energy bill is one of the highest costs that companies in the manufacturing industry are facing, especially with current energy prices”, said Pieter Broekema, co-founder and CEO at Sensorfact.

“In addition, due to the wide interest in climate change, there are an increasing number of European regulations that companies have to comply with. With our technology, companies can kill these two birds with one stone.”

“Companies often lack proper insight into their energy consumption, which is necessary to reduce consumption and thus comply with regulations. We start by supplying our measuring equipment, which customers can easily install themselves, providing insight into the data. Our industry-specific algorithms then help identify energy savings. These findings are complemented by our energy experts, who help with implementation.”
