StanPlus, a Hyderabad-based startup offering 24/7 emergency and medical transport service, has raised US$ 20 million in a Series A funding round co-led by HealthQuad, HealthXCapital and Kalaari Capital on 24 January 2022.

Investors: The latest investment round featured HealthXCapital, HealthQuad and Kalaari Capital as the lead investors with participation from Pegasus FinInvest and angel investors including Prashant Malik and Sandeep Singhal.

Purpose of the funding: The startup seeks to deploy the proceeds from the investment round to ramp up operations to 500 hospitals, launch its flagship brand, Red Ambulance, in ten more cities and lower the ambulance estimated time of arrival to eight minutes from fifteen.

Brought to existence in 2016 by Prabhdeep Singh, Jose Leon and Antoine Poirson, StanPlus offers ambulances equipped with required diagnosis instruments that serve categorical medical problems, allowing patients to obtain complete medical transport service 15 minutes with trained staff. Its ambulance models include basic medical utility and advanced vehicles. The firm’s drivers and doctors are experienced to support different patient requirements, from surgeries and cardiac emergencies to accident/burn patients.
