RoadRunner Recycling, a Pittsburgh-based startup offering commercial waste recycling solutions to enable firms to minimise their recurring expenses, has secured US$ 70 million in a Series D funding round led by Beyond Net Zero on 7 January 2022. 

Investors: The latest investment round featured Beyond Net Zero as the lead investor. The startup has managed to raise, in total, approximately US$ 154 million to date.

Purpose of the funding: The startup seeks to deploy the proceeds from the investment round towards scaling its machine-learning tech, broaden its offerings, stimulate national expansion, and manage operations efficiently.
