Brought to existence in 2020 by Dorian Koch, Nicolai Nieder, Patrick Bieg and Benjamin Gutermann, MedKitDoc’s platform offers its patients a device supported telemedicine service which facilitates delivering data-based, digital counsel on several illnesses, both serious and chronic problems. The startup’s application also aids local or family doctors to treat and analyze numerous patients remotely, prohibiting irrelevant hospitalizations. By employing Bluetooth-driven medical diagnostic devices, including a stethoscope or blood pressure monitor, relevant data is transferred to the local doctors through the firm’s app in real-time during the video counselling. The startup has already entered into partnerships with more than 50 care facilities located in Germany, such as Curata, Korian and Deutsche Fachpflege.

What the Founder has to say: “There is an urgent requirement for innovative solutions to support a strained healthcare system as the world population ages. We seek to provide a one-stop service to chronically ill users with numerous diseases and, simultaneously, lessen physicians’ time spent on documentation. We envisage delivering timely and easy access to top-notch care services to countless people irrespective of where they are located.”- Dorian Koch, CEO and Co-Founder of MedKitDoc.

What the Investor has to say: “Digitisation has changed many sectors, but healthcare remains in the infancy stage of this transformation. The pandemic has increased the number of innovative solutions being brought to existence, and the count of regulatory problems that are being solved compounded with an increase in the acceptance of digital solutions among the populace. MedKitDoc will revolutionize the process through which chronically ill people obtain medical treatment in future. As a result, we are confident about the MedKitDoc’s team success and ever ready to begin this exhilarating journey together.”- Sascha Günther, Principal at Vorwerk Ventures.
