India B2B platform Zetwerk raises US$ 150 million in Series E funding

Zetwerk, a Bengaluru-based business-to-business marketplace for custom manufacturing, has secured a fundraise of US$ 150 million in a Series E funding round held on Monday, August 20 2021. New York-based D1 Capital Partners led the financing round, with much-anticipated participation subsisting and few new backers, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Greenoaks Capital, Sequoia Capital India, Kunal Shah, Avenir Growth Capital. The company also welcomed venture capital from the angel investors club of Cem Garih, Ritesh Agarwal (CEO of OYO) and Fethi Sabancı Kamışlı. 

Zetwerk raised US$ 120 million in Series D early this year, following which it has raised a total of US$ 373 million in the last nine venture rounds. The company has now turned to acquire the Unicorn status, propelling Zetwerk’s total valuation to $1.33 billion.

The company declared that the latest fund would be used to scale operations across the country and help other Indian businesses connect to partners across borders and expand their technology. “Zetwerk is helping enterprises navigate the shift to digital manufacturing amidst rapidly changing global supply chains,” said Co-founder and CEO of Zetwerk, Acharya. “Over the last year, more than 100 western companies have moved their supply chains to India via Zetwerk, across industrial and consumer products.”
