About Zip Run:

Zip Run was founded in the year 2020 by Christian Nicholson, Elis Omoroghomwan, Gabriel Vieira and Michael Gordon. It is set to complete its final approval of adult-use cannabis delivery, making it the first licensed startup to deliver cannabis products within the city limits of Boston.

Currently Zip Run is preparing for its pickup launch, allowing consumers to place orders via its official website with an opportunity to earn credits for future deliveries. Berkshire Roots is Zip Run’s first retail partner offering a range of products from its East Boston store.

Its business is based on a simple model powered by strong technology. Here’s a brief look at how it works:-

Zip Run’s e-commerce platform is a one-stop-shop that integrates with the retailer’s inventories. Customers just have to visit their platform and they will find hundreds of products from edibles to pre-rolls to vapes. Once a customer decides on buying a product, he/she can schedule its delivery based on suitable delivery timeslots, and the rest will be taken care of.

It states its mission as follows- “Our mission is to employ, empower, and enlighten our local communities. We believe in making cannabis consumption more accessible and simple for everyone while shaping the delivery market together.”

Led by a team of young, diverse and motivated entrepreneurs, Zip Run is set to take on its vision of bringing purpose to cannabis and giving back to the community.

What the CEO has to say:

“Mollitiam Capital has deep experience in cannabis delivery and saw the value in our team, proprietary software, and first to market community leadership. They also share our commitment to supporting communities in Massachusetts and beyond who have been disproportionately affected by marijuana prohibition and enforcement.”—Gabe Vieira, co-founder and CEO of Zip Run.
