Poland, Europe-based digital furniture company Tylko announced in March 2021 that it has raised €22 million in a Series C funding round led by Israel-based Pitango Ventures and Finnish Evli Growth Partners. Angel investors in this Series C round include Brian Walker, former CEO of furniture giant Herman Miller, who had been advising Tylko prior to his investment, and Mark Williamson, COO of renowned US-based online classes platform MasterClass. Post the investment, Rami Kalish from Pitango Ventures, Mikko Kuitunen from Evli Growth Partners and Brian Walker will join the startup’s Supervisory Board.

The startup will use the proceeds from the funding round to hire individuals who will help them make ever-better products through industry-leading technology and a customised approach to design.

The startup sells furniture online and believes that the furniture industry can be converted from fast furniture to durable, user-first products. Tylko has witnessed sales during the pandemic increase by 132%, as its future-proof business model uses an online-only, direct-to-consumer (D2C) and made-to-order approach.
