An Indian-based B2B EdTech startup, Eupheus Learning just secured US $4.1 million in a series B funding round announced on February 15, 2021. The investment round was led by the Kuwait-based United Education Company (UEC) in its quest for expansion. Participating in the round is also Al Rayan Holding Company (ARHC) with UEC holding a majority stake in the investment. In the hopes of closing up the gap between at-home and in-class education, Eupheus Learning offers innovative, tech-driven solutions targeted at Kindergartens and 1st through to 12th grade students.

According to Eupheus Learning, the proceeds of the investment will be utilized in two distinct parts listed below.

  • To fuel their development and expansion in West Asia with a focus on at-home learning solutions, reaching markets in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
  • To pursue inorganic growth opportunities by carrying out several acquisitions.

Eupheus Learning is a Delhi-based e-learning startup that actively seeks to improve the educational space for the K-12 school group in India with a focus on advanced learning systems, convenience and cost minimization. The startup targets over 10 million kids in India through their uniquely curated educational insights in Reading Enhancement, English Language, Kinesthetic Learning and STEM/STEAM. Eupheus Learning has had quite an impressive record having just been established not too long ago. According to the company, Eupheus Learning started making profits just 21 months after officially beginning operations. The company also stated making total revenue amounting to Rs 72 crore (about US $9.9M) in their 2020 fiscal year (FY20). Presently, the startup has a presence in over 80 cities in India with a team size of 175 individuals so far.

Eupheus Learning also claims it has partnerships with about 5,000 schools and provides services to 4 million students presently. The startup launched their home-learning solution, Learn2Code in the second half of 2020, which has so far witnessed about 700 schools signing up and over 180,000 students currently utilizing its services.
