Hipcamo announces US$57 million Series C funding

Hipcamp, San Francisco California based travel tech startup that unlocks private land access for outdoor recreation and camping, secured US$57 million Series C funding in January 2021.

This Series C funding round included investors Index Ventures and Bond Capital. This investment brings the valuation of Hipcamp to more than US$ 300 million. The company raised US$ 25 million capital in 2019 and US$ 9.5 million in a Series A round in 2018. The company experienced quadrupled transactions over their platform in between 2020, June and August as they experienced the last in 2019.

Luxtripper raises £1.2 million funding

Luxtripper, London UK based luxury travel tech company which matches the users with their suitable holiday destinations on the online travel booking platform announced closing a £1.2 million funding round on 9th January 2021.

The funding was led by a few high worth individuals and some former travel executives. The recent funding round brings total capital raised by Luxtripper to £3.1 million till date. 

They are planning to use the investment for doubling the destinations they are offering in the next three years and for developing their proprietary technology platform. They will also hire for new roles across their business.
