Spearad, a Germany based startup for addressable TV advertising has secured US$ 1 million seed funding on 10th December 2020. 

The seed round was led by Hessen Kapital III Fund, Richard Reimer from the Hogan Lovells law firm, Fraser & Company and industry veteran Ralf Jacob. Ralf Jacob will join the advisory board of Spearad and Philipp Kobus from Fraser & Company will be joining the management team as non-executive advisor. The existing investor Leverage Invest & Consult Gmbh which is represented by Michael Schultheiss also participated in the seed round. The company is involved in actively changing the ways of addressable TV and OTT management. 

They are planning to use the financing for additional development of their “Selective Programmatic” system and building the team which can serve the increasingly growing global client base of the company.

With its demand side platform it provides programmatic campaigns to the broadcasters for approving and enabling them to decide which advertisement should be delivered programmatically while having the 100 percent of control. With its SaaS based technology, programmatic system and solutions, targeting capabilities to IP address and centralized campaign management system empowers media decisioning technology for the addressable TV.
